Myofascial Release Therapy
Fascia is a continuous 3D tissue which encompasses the body from head to toe, without interruption.
It surrounds, protects and communicates with every tissue, muscle, ligament , Joint and organ in the body.
It provides support and a cushion mechanism to the body, strong and flexible, it responds to pressure born both inside and outside the body.
When things go wrong.
After any physical or emotional trauma, the fascia will scar and harden, causing the bonds to tighten and become tense. This tension leads to areas of compensation in other parts of the body which can result in pain.
Myofascial Release Therapy is a specialised physical therapy that affects and releases the restrictions within the fascial network.
It can be use in conjunction with Physiotherapy or as a standalone treatment.
